Melissa Fleischer, Esq.

Melissa Fleischer, Esq. is a nationally recognized employment law attorney, human resources consultant, and workplace trainer with more than 20 years of experience helping employers navigate complex workplace challenges, maintain compliance, and reduce legal risk. As Founder and President of HR Learning Center LLC, Melissa partners with organizations of all sizes to deliver practical employment law training, strategic HR guidance, and independent workplace investigations.

Throughout her career, Melissa has advised and represented employers in a wide range of employment law matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, leave management, accommodations, and employee relations issues. Her extensive legal and HR experience enables her to provide clients with proactive, business-focused solutions that help prevent workplace problems before they become costly legal disputes.

A highly sought-after speaker and trainer, Melissa has presented hundreds of seminars, webinars, and leadership training programs nationwide on topics including:

In addition to her consulting and training work, Melissa serves as a Chapter Editor for the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Treatise published by the Bureau of National Affairs (BNA). She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has served as Adjunct Faculty for the Professional Development Center at SUNY Westchester Community College.

Melissa earned her Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School and her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from New York University.
